The New Year is often a time when changes are introduced to improve your business but what are the traps and pitfalls you need to avoid so that maximum benefit is obtained?

Case Study

An interesting case that we have recently concluded is with an organisation providing highly sensitive research and development. Due to cutbacks a number of people had to be made redundant but it was vital that those remaining  maintained their focus, enthusiasm and loyalty.

It was clear that those affected needed to find work quickly so that it could be seen to others that whilst this was not a welcome development it was something that the organisation was willing to help with. Each person was intensively coached, providing psychological support as well as practical assistance enabling each person to secure their new role within six weeks of been given the notices.

Some of these people were highly skilled in a very narrow field, whilst others were at a more basic level and entered a highly competitive market
